Downtown Franklin was the best location for this gorgeous photo shoot with senior Skiles! We had so much fun finding the top nooks and crannies to create the most beautiful portraits. Skiles’ did an excellent job and the photos turned out AMAZING. I mean, just look at this natural model!

Skiles’ Waggener is a senior at Ravenwood High School in the Nashville area. When she’s not killing it on the volleyball court, she’s involved in her church theatre group! It’s no wonder she’s great behind a camera!

Skiles’ shoot was absolutely breathtaking, with gorgeous sunlight and textured walls, making it an urban + nature blend success!

We had such a lovely time photographing the beautiful Clara! ;) She came from Knoxville to get her portraits done and she is absolutely radiant inside & out! 

Her outfits were super fun & she had a perfect variety of elegant, classy & urban and fun! 

Clara is about to graduate from West High School in Knoxville this year. Not only is she graduating Class of 2018 but she also is AMAZING and will be graduating with her IB diploma. I know how much hard work and dedication it takes to be an IB student so it is a really big deal!

So fun doing her some of her images inside Frothy Monkey in Downtown Franklin. She's the absolute cutest. Congratulations Clara on graduating and I'm so excited to see what all you do in the future - whatever you do you will excel!! 

Hello my friends! It has really been a while. Where do we begin? This place is a little European dream French village we stumbled upon on an excursion from Geneva Switzerland to France! Filled with rich history, historical castles, colorful vibrant streets, delicious street food and bells of Christmas holidays ringing, this place holds a special place in my heart and is one of the best cities I have experienced in Europe. 

In the distance you can see the most gorgeous view of the Swiss/French Alps. It was slightly cloudy so you couldn't see them entirely but enough to see the gorgeous snow! 

Not gonna lie- don't know if I was fully living until I tried a crepe in Annecy, France. WOW. They sure know how to do it! So thankful we were able to stop in this beautiful village during our stay in Geneva Switzerland and on our way to Barcelona Spain! 

Textured walls, singing in the streets, coral blue water --- can someone please decide to have a destination wedding or elopement here in this beautiful town!?  --we'll be your photographer/videographers. You want to? Ok DONE, see you there. 

Sometimes when you travel, it's not the top destination cities like Rome, Italy, Barcelona, Spain, or Paris, France  that you need to visit to see such beauty, its the small, hidden local gems that make it worth your while and offer clearer glimpse into other distinct cultures.

The warmth and quaintness of this city just makes you want to buy everything which can be dangerous haha! :) 

I love the complexity and excitement of this photo- this little boy running across the French street on New Years Day still filled with the thrill of the holidays and wonder. 

Annecy, France is by far one of the best European towns I have been to visit and I do hope we shall meet again!

FYI if I haven't convinced you that this should be one of the top and best European destinations for your future wedding and that we will be there to photograph it--- I don't know what will! ;) 

If you want the best vacation with an incredible stay, I HIGHLY recommend the Magnolia House in Mt. Pleasant South Carolina. We stayed at this home while vacationing in Charleston, SC this spring. It comfortably rooms 8 people and has the most beautiful pool in the back yard surrounded by palm trees. It truly is a little paradise on Earth. Enough descriptions, let me just show you the house! 

Don't get me wrong, I really do love Nashville. HOWEVER, staying in this gorgeous Charleston home made me think twice about living 8 hours away from the nearest beach haha. :) 

Take my advice and go enjoy your stay in the Magnolia rental home ... the best vacation stay in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina! 

Wow, Meadow is absolutely stunning inside and out. Her wedding preparation photos were a dream. And she looked gorgeous, like a regal princess straight out of a castle in Iceland!! 

Also, look out, Nashville, this lady's coming for you... she's an incredible musician and artist and writes her own heartfelt music. You can check out some of her music HERE

Wedding details... some of my most favorite things to capture. The top highlights of the day to cherish and forever look back on. :) 

What a delight it was capturing this fun family!!! Although an early December shoot and it was quite nippy in the great outdoors, I am so thrilled with how these turned out! Sweet little baby girl (only 3 months old by the way) did amazing!!! 

Although it was absolutely freezing in this early December shoot, the photos were well worth it on this cloudy in Franklin, TN! 

Nothing like a mother-daughter bond!!! Seriously the sweetest! 

Is she not SOOO adorable?!? Babies are to be treasures from heaven!!! Too bad they grow up so quick. Good thing we have a way to capture the moments in time. Haha :) 

What a delight it was capturing Ms. Emily Suttle's senior portraits. She is truly radiant inside and out. So proud of her accomplishment in achieving the status of Ms. Teen Tennessee USA. 

To me, senior portraits are so much more than a few pictures before graduation. Senior portraits are about capturing the beauty and essence of each person, and reminiscing on the beautiful accomplishments as well as the exciting possibilities the future holds. 

Mary Kay the founder of Mary Kay cosmetics once stated it beautifully, "When you reach an obstacle, turn it into an opportunity. You have the choice. You can overcome and be a winner, or you can allow it to overcome you and be a loser. the choice is yours and yours along. Refuse to throw in the towel." That is exactly what Emily chooses to do. She did not give up in anyway on pursuing her dreams and accomplishments and is watching the future unfold for her. I can hardly wait to see what Emily has yet to accomplish! 

Sarah was a delight to work with! Her serene yet bright personality puts you at ease immediately. I had a blast shooting this Artist Musician Portrait shoot for Nashville Singer and guitarist, Sarah Pearl. 

AH, I love this one! The sun illuminates her gorgeous dark hair from the back, casting a golden halo of light around her. 

You should absolutely check out this amazing Nashville musician's music which is soon to be released or go hear her perform live at a concert or maybe on Broadway. One of my favorite moments during the shoot was when I asked her if she could play something or pretend to play so I could get a shot. Immediately she breaks out into this incredible instrumental electric guitar solo and acts as if it was second nature and could do it in her sleep!! Talk about talent. :)

Aboslutely capturing Amy's compassionate, outgoing nature through portraits. Officially being a senior at St. Cecilia Academy Class of 2017 is absolutely an occasion to celebrate! 

Isn't she just the best? Simone de Beauvoir once stated that "One is not born, but rather becomes a woman." I believe this statement is true of Amy, she carries her self with such dignity, poise, and elegance yet with an endearing aura. I am confident she will succeed at anything she puts her mind to pursuing. Sky's the limit. :) 

Wow, these two were such a blast to work with. Kishore decided to surprise his newly wed wife with a 1 year anniversary photoshoot in Brentwood Park Marcella Vivrette to commemorate their first year together. Isn't that absolutely precious? 

We shot this anniversary shoot at the golden hour at dusk at the Marcella Vivrette (Smith Park) in Brentwood, Tennessee in late July (half way between Franklin and Nashville). The location was absolutely perfect because we had plenty of gorgeous fields to shoot through as well as a perfect line of trees in the back. 

I always love finding out interesting facts about my clients, and found out that these two were originally both from India. Being half Indian myself, I immediately felt a connection on another level as we were able to talk about the culture, food, and traditions.  We decided to shoot with two different outfits: one formal look as well as a casual, natural look to diversify the looks. 

Their chemistry was so adorable and beautiful, it almost felt as if we were shooting their engagement photos! So natural and fun together. 

Albert Einstein once cleverly wrote, "You can't blame gravity for falling in love." While that statement has some truth to it, this beautiful couple had so much love and joy. 

"Let us always meet each other with smile, for smile is the beginning of love." - Mother Teresa. I absolutely love this quote because, many wedding, engagement, and anniversary shoots later, I have found this statement to ring true. The couples that express the greatest amount of love and affection are the couples that laugh and smile.
